I first completed a Ph.D. Thesis at the Centre for Natural Language Processing (CENTAL, UCLouvain) during which I investigated the use of NLP technologies to enhance the assessment of text readability for French as a foreign language (FFL).

After my Ph.D., I spent a one-year research stay at IRCS (University of Pennsylvania) as a B.A.E.F. and Fulbright Fellow. As a follow up, I benefited from several post-doctoral research scholarships at CENTAL​. In the meantime, I was Invited Assistant Professor in Applied Linguistics at UCLouvain (2013-2015).
Since September, 1st 2018, I have been appointed as an Assistant Professor in Applied Linguistics at UCLouvain (2018-2022). Later, I obtained tenure as an Associate Professor at UCLouvain (2022-Present).
I am teaching efficient oral and written communication in business contexts as well as introductory statistics for linguistic.
